Special Recognition: RCC Graduates It is truly a privilege to recognize the extraordinary accomplishments of three Washington and Lee High School seniors who have completed their college courses required for an Associate of Arts and Science Degree through RCC. This is a university parallel degree designed to transfer to 4 year colleges and universities and is made possible through the partnership between Westmoreland County Public Schools and Rappahannock Community College. Through this program, these students have received college credit as well as high school credit. With great determination and commitment, they have already completed 2 years of college. CONGRATULATIONS!! Adrianna Carter Ashley Gilhuly Katelyn Kirtley The W&L Virginia Defense Force Cadet Unit had its first training on Saturday, October 19. Nine students and one parent participated in the training. Students learned about the military grades and positions, practiced leadership skills, and drills. They also participated in training for Flag Duty. Students earned their uniforms and were excited to earn boots.
